French Chocolate Sable Cookie Mix - Instructions

French Chocolate Sable Cookie instructions

Makes 24 cookies

You will need:
1 stick unsalted butter (4 oz), softened
1 Tablespoon water

  1. In  a medium sized bowl, beat butter until creamy
  2. Slowly add in mix, then add water
  3. Mix on med–low until ingredients are well combined (scrape down sides of bowl as needed) a dough will start to form, but the texture will be very crumbly
  4. Form dough into a ball, compressing with your hands (the warmth of your hands will help bring the dough together)
  5. Shape into a 12 inch log
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap & refrigerate for 1 hour
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F
  8. Unwrap and carefully cut into 1/2 inch pieces, then put on un-greased or parchment lined cookie sheet
  9. Sprinkle cookie dough with sugar
  10. Bake for 12–15 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet, then serve
