Italian Lemon Cookie Mix - Instructions

Italian Lemon Cookie Mix

Makes 24–30 Cookies 

You will need:
1 stick unsalted butter (4 oz) softened
1 large egg

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Beat butter on medium–high speed, until creamy
  3. Add cookie mix and beat on low speed until small lumps appear (30-45 seconds)
  4. Add egg and mix on medium speed until dough comes together
  5. Roll dough into balls (2 teaspoons) and place on un-greased or parchment lined cookie sheet
  6. Bake 12-15 minutes or until bottoms of cookies are golden brown
  7. Cool on cookie sheet, then apply glaze

    Glaze Mix Instructions

    You will need:
    3-4 tablespoons of milk

    • In a small mixing bowl, combine glaze mix with milk, then beat until smooth
      (use 3 tablespoons milk for thick glaze or 4 tablespoons for thin glaze)
    • Dip the tops of the cookies into the glaze and set aside until glaze hardens
